Bye Sweden!
Since wednesday this week I've been spending my days at my brothers house, with him and his familly. Tomorrow I will be off to Landvetter Airport, were I will be spending my night on the benches for about 10 hours before the plane takes off. Luckily I am priviliged with five amazing friends who will also go on this adventure with me, so I reckon 10 hours will fly by.
After a 12 hours flight we will arrive in Nairobi. Here we will be spending our first days before we are finally seated on a buss which will takes us to Nyansiongo, which is the village we will be spending the next three months in.
At the moment I am weirdly enough not that nervous, more excited and happy. But I am sure that when the plane takes off, I will be a nervous wrack.
Next time you will hear from me is when im in Kenya, till then, wish me good luck!
Last thing!
Last lesson with my Peaceworks friends was about how a small gesture can change someones life. There is not always a huge amount of money that will make the differens. We watched Sheryl WuDunn making a great lecture about this were she showed several exampels. I strongly recomend you watching this video at ted.com.
